Once again this year, the Spanish companies that are part of the Parques Reunidos Group have been distinguished with the Solidarity Company distinction, issued by the Third Sector Platform, which recognizes those companies that seek to generate a positive impact on society through the Solidarity Company checkbox of the Corporate Income Tax.
We thus remain amongst the group of companies recognised for our commitment to a fairer, more inclusive and more supportive society by the Third Sector Platform, which brings together the seven most representative Spanish organizations in the social field, regional Third Sector Platforms and collaborating entities, representing more than 28,000 social entities, over forty-eight million direct interventions per year and four million volunteers. By joining the 'Casilla Empresa Solidaria' campaign, which raised more than 125 million euros in 2025, the parks and companies in Spain of the Parques Reunidos Group take another step forward in our objectives, enabling the Third Sector to have an additional economic contribution to carry out, in an efficient and traceable manner, actions that have an impact on the social welfare of groups in vulnerable situations.
It is worth remembering that, according to data from the report 'The State of Poverty' by the European Anti-Poverty and Social Exclusion Network in Spain (EAPN-ES), more than 27% of people in Spain are in a situation of social exclusion or poverty, which amounted to more than 13 million of the population in 2023. In the current context of social, environmental and geopolitical crisis, the gaps and social uncertainty have increased the social demands attended by the Third Sector, a fundamental support to carry out a fair social transformation.
