Everything you need for your visit to Cablecar

We want to make sure you have everything you need for a perfect visit to the summit of Mount Calamorro in our comfortable cablecars: discover all the services available at our facilities and... see you soon!

Customer Service

You can get answers to all your questions about your visit at the Customer Service office located at the park entrance, where our staff will help you with everything you need. Visitors with disabilities or special needs will receive personalized information and access to services for a more comfortable visit.

Multilingual audio guide

During the ascent to the summit, you can listen to a recording that will tell you everything about the Sierra de Mijas and the climb up Mount Calamorro. It is available in Spanish, English, French, or German, depending on the user's selection.

Toilets and changing tables

The park's toilets have baby changing facilities and a separate toilet adapted for people with reduced mobility. They are located next to the Customer Service office, in the cablecar access plaza, and inside the La Cima Restaurant, next to the summit station.

Wheelchair access

Folding wheelchairs or those with a total width of less than 70 cm can enter the cabins, and the speed of the cabin can be reduced sufficiently or stopped so that they can board easily. If necessary, we have a ramp for access to the cabins.

In the case of electric wheelchairs, access will depend on the user's ability to maneuver into the cabin, provided that the maximum width of 70 cm is not exceeded, so we cannot guarantee that it will be possible.

Please note that access to the North and South panoramic viewpoints is not accessible with baby strollers or wheelchairs, as there are uneven surfaces and steps along the route, which may not be accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Access to the Central viewpoint is very close to the arrival station at the top and is accessible, free of architectural barriers, with no steps along the route.

Visitors with disabilities

Visitors who need them can use noise-canceling headphones free of charge, which are especially suitable for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). They can be requested at the Visitor Services office, available upon payment of a deposit (€20) which will be refunded upon return.

Those visitors with non-visible conditions or disabilities who wish to do so may voluntarily request identification with the official sunflower symbol at the Visitor Services office. Through this international symbol, they can let our staff and other visitors know of their need for help or understanding in a discreet and cheerful manner.
